Laxmi Narain Dubey College
Laxmi Narain dubey College was started in the year 1966 in the district head quarter of East-Champran, Motihari.To full fill the educational needs of this backward district. It is situated in the head of town just in front of Sadar Hospital and Town Thana. It imparts teaching right from Intermediate level to Honors level in every subject of Science and Art’s . This has a unit of Bachelor in Computer application ( B.C.A. ) teaching and a centre for Distance Education of B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.
The College was made a CONSTITUENT UNIT in 1980. The College is well reputed for its Teaching, Discipline, and Fairness in Examination. It is approved by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi under section 2(f) of the U. G. C. Act, 1956. The College was established in 1970 and affiliated permanently in 1980 by the Bihar University, Muzaffarpur (Bihar).More than 3,000 students are reading in the college, comprising OBC, SC, ST, PH, Minorities & General Categories. Results are praiseworthy because many of them have ranked in the University. The College awards each year a number of prizes to students for high achievement in academic & extra-curricular activities. Scholarships and other financial aid are given to deserving students on the basis of merit.
